With the feet in the sand

As lovers of the outdoors Claudia and Sylvain dreamed of a wedding on the beach. Although the sunny French Riviera (Cote d’Azur) is known for it’s beaches and coastline, very few weddings are actually held on a beach because of noise and time limitations. They managed to find the perfect solution though by having their wedding on the island of Porquerolles on one of the remote beaches. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love going to a location like that?!

They contacted us and immediately had tons of great ideas ranging from drones high up, arriving by boat, walking through the water, a wedding on the beach, and up to photo sessions under the water. Yes, you could say they love adventure so it’s nice when kindred spirits find one another!

So the adventure began to organize a wedding on a remote island and the the end result was fantastic!

The last picture above of Sylvain getting ready was taken by my second photographer Blaise Fiedler.

Because of their love of the water the location for the First Look was a no brainer!

Although Sylvain didn’t say much at the beginning of the ceremony, his expressions said it all!

… and now time for the fun to begin!

One of the most important moment for Claudia & Sylvain was the original arrival by boat!
