Planning your session

  • First:

    Consultation

Let’s meet and discuss in person (or over Skype for those far away) to chat about you, your relationship(s), your ideas, your style, and how we can capture something original for you. There is no cost or obligation for this consultation and we’ll share ideas and recommend locations that we know will match what you’re looking for. We’ll then pick a date and finalize all the details: wardrobe recommendations, accessories, and locations.

    Second:

    Session

We’ll capture who you are, your relationships, and you’re going to have a LOT of fun (together). You’ll feel relaxed. You’ll feel like a star. You’ll have natural smiles and expressions. You’ll have a great time. You’ll go home feeling fantastic and eager to see the final results! If desired, we can place a sneak peak shortly afterwards on Facebook.

    Third:

    Final Product

This is the MOST EXITING part. You’ll come to our place a few days after your session and we’ll present your photographs in a fun, beautiful and relaxed environment. There will be lots of OOOHSS and AAHHS and perhaps some tears. This will be the first time you’ll see your photographs and count on 1.5 hours for everything. In this final meeting we’ll narrow down your favorite portraits and make ALL decisions for your portrait order. We’ll be there to help you every step of the way. You will receive your artwork 1-3 weeks and treasure it for life.

    First:

    Let's Meet

If our photography matches what you are looking for then contact us and we’ll schedule a consultation at our studio (or home). There is no cost or obligation for this meeting, it’s just a chance to meet face to face. You can tell us your dreams so that we can give you lots of tips and tricks to make the most out of your wedding and the photography. We’ll also show you artwork that will be created from your wedding pictures and help you understand a little better about how we will capture your wedding through artistic, story-telling photography. If you think our vision is the right approach for your wedding, we’d be honored to pour our hearts into creating something truly awesome for you!

    Second:

    Booking

Clients usually book us 6-18 months in advance and we often receive 10+ requests for the same weekend, so plan accordingly. You can book us as your wedding photographers by signing a contract (which stipulates everything we agreed upon) and by paying a 750€ deposit (non-refundable). Future meetings will be planned to finalize your wedding day details and if you reserved it we’ll also plan a fun engagement photo session.

    Third:

    Presentation

Wedding photography is a family heritage so let’s show your grand children 30 years from now what an awesome wedding you had! You’ll have plenty of choice of how your pictures can be admired: in your hands, on a screen, on a table, or on a wall. Your pictures will be ready a few weeks after your wedding (bring out the tissues!) and we’ll schedule a final meeting so that you can choose the amazing artwork and products to really bring your pictures to live. The design and printing of an album will be top notch and takes around 2 months. You’ll end up very proud of your photography and look back at your wedding over and over again.

    First:

    Planning

If you would like to create a one-of-a-kind memory of your growing child, contact us to schedule a time to learn more about my Infant Lifestyle albums. Proper planning and preparation is key for a successful production, but it’s easier than you think. We will collaborate using online tools to plan out every single letter, it’s relation to your family, any props or locations that will be incorporated and how to plan around your infant’s “schedule”. Because we will be photographing over the space of multiple days, it’s important to plan a few months in advance to guarantee the best availability for your needs

    Second:

    Production

Over the span of three days, we will execute on our meticulously conceived plans for each letter and then realize we were expecting an infant to do all this! With a lot of patience and backup plans, everything always works out. I want your child’s personality and character to be accurately portrayed in the photographs, and a lot of changes will be made on the fly. But, in the end, it will have been a lot of fun making some incredibly awesome photographs of your child.

    Third:

    Presentation

This is probably the BEST and MOST IMPORTANT part. A few days after the final photographs have been taken, you’ll come back to the studio and we’ll present your photographs on the large presentation system and ooh and ahh over a week’s worth of hard work (it’s OK to cry). This is the first time you’ll see your photographs (except maybe a sneak peek will be shared on facebook). This is the final meeting and your album will be complete and ready to present, and make ALL decisions in regards to other artwork you would like to display in the home. In about 2-3 weeks you’ll be able to come back and pick up your order and start sharing your family portrait goodness!
